Thanksgiving & first Santa visit!

We had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends!! We hosted it at our house, and I tried brining a turkey for the first time!! I think it turned out well. The food was great, but the football could have been better! The Aggies and the Beavers both had heartbreaking losses to their biggest rivals. :-( What a terrible way to end the season. 

Molly was so good all weekend and really enjoyed the visits by her aunts & uncles! She even took a nap right through Thanksgiving dinner!! How convenient!! On Sunday, Matt and I, Matt, Lauren, Mom, Brian, Sabrina and the Fishers all went to a movie while Grandpa Wayne stayed home with Molly. A first babysitting experience for Grandpa!! 

Yesterday was the Kittelson & Associates Kids Holiday party. Sadly, Matt was out of town on business and so was Grandpa Wayne. And Grandma Jan was hosting bunco at her house. So Molly & I went downtown by ourselves to the party! Molly sat on Santa's lap for the first time and Santa gave her a stuffed animal and a book. I don't think Molly minded Santa too much!! She just thought his beard was a little itchy!!

3 Months!!

Sorry to be so slow posting! Molly turned 3 months last Thursday. She is doing so many new fun things!! As you can see from the video below, she is starting to get more head control! She is also smiling more and making lots of funny noises and squeals! She makes one noise that is kind of like a cough that I think will soon turn into a laugh! She is still not a big tummy time fan, but she seems to tolerate it a little better. She is also not a fan of her Jumparoo yet, but I'm sure she'll get there! We are still dealing with her reflux, which is frustrating for all of us. As Matt puts it..."I HATE SPIT-UP!!" We also hate that our little girl feels bad after eating.....no fun! We can't wait until she grows out of this!! Anyways, more pictures are on the photo page!! Enjoy!

Halloween!

Molly's first Halloween was a lot of fun! We went to just a few houses to show off our little Monkey! Then we had dinner in a Pumpkin with Mom & Kara, and answered the door for the millions of trick-or-teaters that found our neighborhood! Here are some pictures, more on the photo page!

20 years ago...
 I was living with my parents, brothers and dog Muffin at our house on Pinebrook Street. I was 10 years old and in Mr. Smith’s 5^th grade class at Templeton Elementary. I remember playing Dodgeball in PE and singing in our class program “How the West Was Really Won”. My best friend was Julie Pasteris who lived down the street. We would play Barbies and have sleep overs. We would dress up my little brothers Brian & Matt and her little sister Karri and play house! I LOVED her tire swing in her back yard. She also had a great tree for climbing and we would play tree house on that all the time!

 

Pumpkin Patch!!

On Sunday we took Molly to Lee's Farms in Tualatin for her first Pumpkin Patch visit! She wasn't too excited about it, but wait till next year!! We got some great pumpkins, as well as some fresh apple cider, pumpkin doughnuts and other goodies. It was great that Sally was here to join us!!
