Babble

My brother told me I have been bad about posting lately! Sorry about that! Molly and I are headed to Roseburg today for my cousin Sarah's bridal shower, so I don't have time for a long post. I will write again after this weekend and post some pictures! But for now, here is a quick video of Molly babbling! She is doing this ALL day long these days!! Also, we are within weeks (if not days or hours!!) of crawling!! Matt and I have a bet on when it will happen! Have a great weekend & Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!! I'm excited for my first Mother's day as a Mama!! ;-)

8 Months old!

Molly is 8 months old!! Her favorite position to be in is sitting up, and she is a very steady sitter now. She is becoming more interested in getting where she wants! I tell people it is like holding a puppy.....if she sees something she wants to touch she LEANS that way! And let me tell you, she wants to touch EVERYTHING!! So she is very squirmy right now! She will stay up on all fours if I put her there and she will rock back and forth a little, but that is as close to crawling as she gets. 7 Months!

Trip to Minnesota!!

We had a great time visiting family in Mankato last weekend! Molly's first plane rides went pretty well. Armed with toys and Baby Mum Mums, we were ready to keep her entertained! She was pretty content the whole time, with the exception of the takeoff in Minnesota. Not sure why, but her ears bothered her and she cried during most of it. ;-( Poor Thing! And then the landing in PDX was VERY windy (bumpy & scary!) so Mama didn't like it too much! But thankfully Molly thought it was quite fun and was even laughing a little at the bumps!! ;-)

Seeing Becki, Gary, Chris, Nikki, Ashley, Tyler, Brittany and all their dogs was so much fun! Getting to go to Ashley's baby shower was great too! Molly and I were so glad we could be there to celebrate the upcoming arrival of cousin Addisyn (Only 3 weeks to go!!) Molly getting to meet Great-Grandma Geneva (GG) was so special. There were lots of hugs and kisses and GG even got to give Molly her bedtime bottle! Here are some pictures fro our trip. More on Picasa web, Just click on the last picture!
